Our Story
Weapons Guard was created by SGT Vincent Damiano almost entirely by accident. When he left for his last deployment to Afghanistan he struggled with the burden of leaving his collection of firearms in his home while he wasn't in control of them. He then asked a trusted friend who was in the storage business and just happened to own one of the largest privately held vaults in the NJ to store them; he agreed to lease him a unit. Soon after returning from deployment Sgt Damiano found that other soldiers in similar situations were storing their firearms in min-storage facilities and lost them to auction. Soldiers were also storing firearms in the trunks of their cars which makes them prone to theft. Both of theses common practices happen to be illegal. Others pawned their collection or allowed a friend to hold them, never to see their firearms again. He listened to horror stories about now ex-wives giving their prized rifles to new boyfriends or their house being robbed and stealing their family heirloom pistol. Being an entrepreneur at heart he began the plans to what is now known as Weapons Guard- A Service Members Firearm Storage Solution. As Weapons Guard operates now, anyone in the Armed Service can legally ship their firearm to Weapons Guard Headquarters for storage at their underground armory; an environmentally controlled, 3000 square foot, Diebold Vault, underground in northern, NJ. When a Service Member is ready to take back control of their firearm, Weapons Guard can ship it back directly to them, no FFL transfer required. We have carefully crafted this program in conjunction with the ATF, the New Jersey Attorney General's Office and the New Jersey State Police. Weapons Guard is currently in the expansion process of placing licensed storage facilities in close proximity of every major military base in the US. |

Vincent Damiano is a combat-disabled veteran-turned business professional who served in the Marine Corps, Active Army & NJ Army National Guard (both part time & AGR). Vincent is a true Patriot who loves nothing more than the protection of his fellow Americans and those who serve their country. Along with Weapons Guard he owns several other businesses from Security, Martial Arts, Tactical Training & Consulting & Public Speaking. Vince constantly gives back to the community by offering special events for teens looking for positive role models to outdoor adventure classes for veterans.
